Formed in 2022, The Desert Mile continues to build a strong presence within Sydney's live music scene through high-energy performances, original releases and local festival appearances.

Blending blues, classic rock, country,and modern alternative influences throughout their ever growing catalogue of original music, The Desert Mile delivers a signature guitar-driven sound defined by soulful songwriting, powerful musicianship and dynamic live shows.

Releases to date include the self-titled debut EP featuring the singles 10 Mile Away, Uncommon Behaviour and It’s Been Real, alongside follow-up releases A Little Haunted and crowd favourite Inveterate.

Having won the Aus Battle of the Songs Songwriting comp in 2024 and finalists in Sailor Jerry’s Aus Battle of the Bands the same year, The Desert Mile continues to perform throughout Sydney and surrounds having  already played s host of established live venues and events including:

Oxford Art Factory - Stanmore Music Festival - Crowbar - Kelly’s  - MoshPit - Six String Brewing - Rock Lily at The Star - Soultrap
