Hailing from Sydney, Australia, is original blues-rock band The Desert Mile, writing music with deep tones to warm you straight to your bones. Each member brings their own unique style to the group with decades of performing experience between them.
We started the band in 2022, working on a few existing demos put together by our lead writer Andy. We began collaborating on new songs, keeping to the blues-rock flavour but not afraid to experiment with other influences.
Highlights so far :
We independently released our self-titled debut EP consisting of 3 songs
We won the annual Australia Day Battle of the Songs competition performing 10 Mile Away and Uncommon Behaviour.
We made it to the Grand Final of Sailor Jerry's Battle of the Bands competition at Rock Lily (Star City Casino, Sydney)
Released our debut Music Video for 10 Mile Away.
